Air Conditioners
Pro-Ozone Air Conditioners : Rittal's CFC-free Pro-Ozone air conditioners cool the enclosure interior below ambient termperature. Separate internal and external air cycles protect against dust. Two types of temperature control and monitoring are available; a standard thermostat or an optional micro-controller that provides system monitoring, analysis and can be tied to a central computer system. They are available in 50 and 60 Hz, and in 115, 230 and 400 V versions. Mid-size Air Conditioners Rittal's mid-size air conditioners are especially designed for restricted spaces. They can be used for compact enclosures, control panels and operator interface enclosures.

Heat Exchangers
Air/air Heat Exchangers : Air/air heat exchangers feature two separate air cycles through which cooler ambient air is used to cool the air in an ecnlosure. Air that has been heated inside an enclosure is drawn into the heat exchanger module by a powerful blower. Cooler ambient air is also drawn in by a separate blower into the other side of the heat exchanger. The heat is exchanged through aluminum panels, while the two air cycles stay completely separate and dust is prevented from entering the enclosure. They are extremely flat and can be mounted on enclosure side walls or doors - a roofmounted model is also available.

Air/water Heat Exchangers : As an alternative to chemical refrigerants, the most efficient cooling solution is through integrating an air/water heat exchanger into an available cooling water system or Rittal chiller. The refrigerant (in this case water) absorbs the heat inside the enclosure via heat exchange fins and dissipates it to the outside. The heated cooling water is subsequently cooled in its closed internal loop. Because of their low energy consumption, air/water exchangers ensure the lowest possible operating cost. And because it is a closed system, the same water can be used over and over again. They are available in a wallmounted and a roofmounted version.

Filter Fans
Filter Fans : Filter fans are typically used when, under normal operating conditions, the ambient temperature is below the temperature inside an enclosure. They help cool an enclosure and prevent the build-up of humidity. The enclosure is effectively cooled by drawing ambient air in at the bottom of the cabinet, filtering it, and exhausting it at the top of the enclosure after it has absorbed the heat generated by installed components. Even when the unit is switched off, the intake and exhaust louvers ensure quick temperature equalization thus preventing condensation. Rittal's 1S filter fans are extremely flat, easy to install, and deliver a high cost/performance ratio.

19" Rackmount Climate Control
Specially developed to protect and extend the life of sensitive 19" electronic components. Rittal's rackmounted air conditioners, fans and blowers ensure optimum temperatures in 19" cabinets and subracks. Ambient requirements are identical to standard climate control components.
Rackmount Air Conditioners
These air conditioners can be easily mounted in a 19" rack. A service door provides easy access to the temperature controller. Water that condenses at the evaporator is routed to the outside, and the refrigeration system requires no maintenance.
Rackmount Fans
By constantly keeping air moving, rackmount fans prevent heat pockets and promote heat dissipation through the outside surfaces of a cabinet. Alarm fault sensors provide warning of system problems. They are available in AC (115 and 240 V) and DC (24V).
Rackmount Blowers
Rackmount blowers cool the inside of a 19" cabinet by drawing in filtered outside air and exhausting warmed air. They are especially useful for densely packed cabinets.

Panel Heaters
Panel Heaters : Prewired and easily installed, Rittal's panel heaters protect against frost and the condensation that can be generated during extreme ambient temperature variations. The design of the aluminum heating ribs ensures an even heating effect over the entire heater surface while an integrated bi-metallic controller or PTC heating resistor limits the surface temperature to +149 degrees F.
